Another quick update from South Africa.

Things continue to go well.

Yesterday Ball Project dropped off 3 soccer balls & 4 rugby balls at Raithby Primary School outside of Stellenbosch. Raithby Primary has been a Ball Project partner since 2005.

Yesterday The Viewfinder Project (http://www.theviewfinderproject.org) delivered 4 digital cameras & an external hard drive (for archiving photos) to Raithby Primary as well. In 2005 Raithby Primary was also the site of the initial pilot photography project of The Viewfinder Project.  The Viewfinder Project helps children see life differently by teaching them photography & life skills.

It was a joy to be with the headmaster of Raithby Primary & to see the improvements the school has made recently. &, of course, the headmaster was thrilled with the balls & cameras.

I attended a celebration dinner for one of Ball Project’s South African partners last night. They are celebrating 25 years of sports development work in South Africa. It was a good chance to catch up with several Ball Project partners & friends.

Thanks to all of our donors for continuing to help children play & see life differently.
