New soccer balls for Wema Children's Home
Dear Ball Project,
Late last year we received a $500 donation from the Ball Project USA for Kenya & we are glad to give you some feedback. We have used the money to get balls to several places across the country just to give an opportunity for kids to play.
We have given 10 balls to Bungoma Kids league with a total population of 350 children enrolled. We sent some 6 balls to Mfangano Island in Lake Victoria Kenya to Mashambani football club for a soccer tournament for this August. We also donated three balls to Wema Children’s Home in Kayole Nairobi, another one ball to Maximum Children’s Home in Kahawa Sukari Nairobi & another five to Makadara Junior League.
We are glad that through this we have been able to give more opportunities for kids to play & we look forward to partnering with you more.
Thank you very much for your kind donation. We shall be doing the Mfangano Island story & forward it to you. The need is huge & we hope to continue getting our local chapter also doing the same as we managed to do two months ago. We have so far managed to give more than 85 balls from our different partners since the beginning of the year.
