This first part of the year has been very interesting.

We laid down a couple of plans with minimal budgets and failed to get any money we needed except for the balls.

These little round gifts from Ball Project were used and we managed to help support 3 communities: Mutungo, Masaka and Zzana.

In Masaska, which is 130 miles from Kampala, with 11 balls we pulled off an program of 13 Youth Teams and 8 Adults Teams which covered 13 counties in the area. The tournament dabbed ‘Audience of One – Cup’ was exciting and the community loved it.

I have come to believe that with continued tournaments and outreaches of this sort, communities are beginning to understand and own most of it.

Playing with a good soccer ball is a winner among young people in these communities. Believe it that the people who just keep these soccer balls in the villages are of high regard and respected.

Our coaching and leadership training are well mobilized because the ball introduced us to many people. The need keeps growing and we pray for you and partners as you continue to support us.

The need for soccer balls and volunteers grows every day. I have no extra balls but many requests.

We want to do massive Soccer programs including 4 sports camps in the last half of this year when as a Nation we celebrate 50 years since Independence.

Ball Project is hoping to raise $4,500 to supp0rt these programs to celebrate 50 years of Ugandan Independence. About $25 buys a good soccer ball. You can give online at https://ballproject.com/give/ or find our address to send in a check.

Thanks to our donors & our Ball Project Uganda partners for helping children play.
