Ball Project is grateful for our amazing partners around the world helping children by helping children play.
Here is a recent update from one of our partners in Nigeria that does sports, leadership & community development training & projects for coaches, children & community leaders around the country.

We went to Kwali village today, February 2015, to encourage one of our trained sports coaches. When we got there, we asked the kids to come and join us play football. They were reluctant because we were not holding any ball. Unknown to them, I have soccer balls in my bag. Six(6) of them decided to join us and participate in drills. While the drills were going on, I brought 3 balls and started inflating them with air. Immediately the other kids saw the balls, they ran onto the field to join us. We had about 30 kids who joined us and a further 22 asking to be allowed to be part of the team.
At the end of the day, we were glad that we went to this village to be the light that shines and darkness disappears. The doors to this community are opened to us to bring hope through sports. The kids would never be the same again, when we said the balls and jerseys are for them to use and play, their joy knew no bounds, you could see the expression of appreciation on their faces.
