Here is an encouraging update from one of our UK partners Ambassadors Football:
We have seen a reduced number of activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However as soon as the Football Association allowed us to coach kids we started doing so. Many schools are not allowing external groups to train, but we also train on Saturday mornings on the local field.
When we returned to coaching one mother said that she had not seen her son smiling so much for 3 months.
We will have 3 football camps this month, having planned 11. We hope to start to have more in the holidays from school in October and into 2021.
Next week we have 60 kids in one camp, 18 in another and in two weeks’ time 20 more in London.
Income is difficult during the crisis. The Ball Project funds help to provide balls, which means we can still use other funds for salaries and other project costs. Thank you.
Ball Project is thankful for our partners around the world working to help their communities & to help children play.
