Ball Project is thankful for our partners in South Africa & around the world working to build communities, mentor young people & help children play!

“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” – Plato

We are in a new reality Covid-19. We don’t know yet if things will go back to anything like “normal” anytime soon.

Obviously things have slowed down all over the world & many of our partners are stuck indoors & unable to maintain their weekly sports programs. Everyone is figuring out how to keep communicating, coaching & mentoring using technology.

Ball Project has been working to communicate with our partners to get updates & encourage them. So far everyone is healthy but concerned about health & projects & support. Everyone is also trying to come up with new strategies to build their  communities & help children play.

As people are stuck inside or are limited in their mobility & activities, a new initiative  that is encouraging is family.fit. family.fit will help your family be fit and healthy, stay connected, and grow in character.

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants & murderers, & for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it–always.” – Mahatma Gandhi

Be smart, be safe, be healthy & be helpful.

Here is a short but sweet update from one of our partners in Ukraine:

last bell ball pit 3.2020

Last Bell works with orphanage graduates and their families in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. We expect to work with 500+ this year, including many orphan parents.

The Shelter is our crisis housing program for orphan moms who need a place to stay with their kids and get on their feet again.

With the COVID-19 crisis, it’s especially important for these kids to be able to play inside, at home – and Ball Project has helped us equip our facility for that. Our kids love the play room!

Ball Project is thankful for our partners around the world working faithfully to help their communities & help children play.

Help children play
