Thank you from Chile!

We are so blessed to receive help from The Ball Project. Our football program reaches out to the children living in the poorer neighborhoods of Santiago. There is not a lot of green space on this side of town and playing on any field is a financial barrier that the children cannot overcome. Our kids play primarily on the cement futsal courts around town and keeping a quality ball in play is not easy so having a supply of balls is essential to the work.

Through our work at Ambassadors Football International and your kind support, our kids can play!

Our futsal programs help our leaders and coaches to develop relationships with the kids, and in conjunction with the local churches we partner with, begin to mentor and encourage these children. Many of the children, through the futsal programs are now attending church and or our schools where they are learning how to live a life filled with genuine HOPE.

Thank you so much for coming along side of us for so many years. You’re making a difference in Chile!

Ball Project is thankful for our partners like Ambassadors Football in Chile & around the world working faithfully to help children play.

We currently have 3 groups where we are working, if God allows it, there will be 3 more in a few weeks.

We are with a volleyball team from 7 to 21 years of age in the Guido de Deamaparados, around 20 girls and boys attend every Friday 3 hours.

In this team, everyone receives leadership and spiritual training and some already go to other teams outside and share what they have learned.

We are also with the Ayarco women’s volleyball team, there are 50 girls from 12 to 15 years old, we see each other Tuesday and Thursday 3 hours a week. We share about values and about leadership, this is a competitive team, many of the girls are open to our training with them.

The third group is in the Las Gardenias neighborhood, the Guidos. It is the community where I live and I do recreational activities with the kids and I share with them about values, we don’t have a space to do the activities so we use the dead end street. This group is very eager to learn and play.

We are praying for God to touch hearts in schools and we are already waiting for meetings. and for a volleyball team on Saturdays in Tibas of girls from 6 to 11 years old with whom we already work but we need the time to share more that we hope will begin soon.

We are sharing the vision with the coaches so that they reach through other sports to win more teams and opportunities.

Ball Project is thankful for our partners in Costa Rica & around the world working faithfully to develop young leaders, build communities & help children play.

We are mentoring and making leaders to young surfers in Carupano Venezuela. We meet every Friday and Saturday to train surfing and study leadership and the Bible and in community. Currently we are 12 young people between 12 to 17 years. They are young people from low income families and had never had much opportunity. One of them had been in the vice of tobacco since he was a child and since he began to hear about God’s love he put his hope to be free of vice. God is doing great things in the lives of these young people.

Ball Project is thankful for our partners in Venezuela & around the world working faithfully develop young leaders, build community & help children play.
