I leave today for a quick trip to 3 countries in Asia & then on to partner meetings back in the USA.
It is always hard to leave family & friends at home. But it is always good to see partners face to face on the ground where we can share a coffee or meal, visit projects, encourage & learn from one another as we work to help children play.
Ball Project partner IHM is based in Indianapolis & heading to Honduras to work with Friends of Honduran Children to help kids play!
Here is a great picture of shopping for balls to go on the trip:
Here is a short update from one of our partners in Bangladesh:
We are trying to train some volunteers of different Churches and denominations. We have distributed some balls and crickets equipment. Our teams in different areas are encouraging children, teens and youth to play with their peers. We are working with six teams in different areas of our country. They meet fortnightly. Through our ball and equipment distribution, children and youth are encouraged to play together and impacted for the good of the community. Some of them are going to community meetings regularly. Our volunteers play with them regularly.
Thank you all Ball Project for your concern and equipment supports to touch so many lives.
Ball Project is thankful for & encouraged by our amazing partners around the world giving their time & their lives to help their communities & to help kids play.
