The mission Ball Project is simply to help children play.
Ball Project believes in the Power of Play to change communities & children of all ages.
Ball Project helps children play by helping get balls & sports equipment to coaches & community leaders around the world.
Ball Project partners help children play in Africa, Asia, Central Asia, Europe, the South Pacific, North & South & Latin America. Ball Project partners help children play in orphanages, prisons, refugee camps, rehab centers, schools & community leagues & clinics.
Ball Project is volunteer led & made possible by the support of our partners & donors.
A decent soccer ball can cost anywhere from $6 in Mozambique to close to $80 in the South Pacific.
In 2017 Ball Project worked with dozens of partners on dozens of projects around the world with fun projects including: Ultimate Frisbees in Cape Town, surfboards & soccer balls in Venezuela, volleyballs & soccer balls in India, & a basketball goal & balls in Moldova (to name just a few).
& obviously, Ball Project is grateful for our partners around the world working to improve their communities & to help children play.
Thank you.
The best is yet to come.
