Last Bell soccer clinic 12.2019

Here is an encouraging update from one of our partners, Last Bell, in Ukraine.

Last Bell works with orphanage graduates and their families in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. The Ball Project has helped us with equipment at our Crisis Shelter Housing facility, and with balls and equipment – including some that went to one of the former orphans MP, who is now using her sports leadership training to run soccer groups with orphans and orphan-led families.

Last Bell works with orphans in Ukraine as they age out of the state orphanage system into society.

Ball Project partners continually encourage & humble us with how they work to help their communities & help children play.

Here is an encouraging update from one of our partners in Ukraine.

Last Bell provides mentoring and help for orphanage graduates in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. When orphans begin having children of their own, they need a lot of help! Our Shelter Crisis Facility takes in moms and children who need a safe place to stay while they get back on their feet. It’s important for moms and kids to be able to play together there.

Please take a look at this video of our little ones learning soft blocks to learn how to climb and balance:

Last Bell kids with Ball Project equipment 2017

Thanks, Ball Project! Much of the equipment in this room was paid for by a Ball Project grant, and we use it through the long cold months.

Ball Project is thankful for all of our partners working faithfully to help children play!
