OK.
Saturday I ran for an hour as part of the global Run 4 The World to raise funds for local & international aid projects. Check out www.r4tw.org for information.
I ran just barely over 8 miles/12.9 kilometers in my hour. Which is good for me. So I was tired.
I had several sponsors sending in checks & I had $510 committed for each mile. So I should have ~$4,200 to split between Servlife & new Ball Project grants.
I ran to raise money for Ball Project & Servlife, a group that helps care for orphans & does microfinance work in India & Nepal. Servlife has a $100,000 matching campaign for the month of October. Learn more at www.Servlife.org/October. Ball Project has provided balls & games & sports equipment for Servlife’s orphanages in Nepal & India.
It is not too late to give. If you would like to help, go to www.ballproject.com/give or mail a check to:

Run 4 The World is a great project. Please get involved next year, wherever in the world you are. Like I said above, check out www.r4tw.org for information.
Thanks to our partners & our donors for helping children by helping children play.
