I am back home after a quick trip to Singapore, India & Nepal visiting Ball Project partners. The time in Asia was very encouraging & there are lots of opportunities & partnerships to continue & develop.
I was able to introduce a few people to The Viewfinder Project & the great work they are doing teaching photography & life skills to help people “see life differently.”
It was good to go & it is good to be back.
Ball Project is thankful for our supporters & partners committed to help kids play.
We are back home again in the USA & back at work. It was good to go & good to be back.
The trip to Asia was very encouraging.
In India, it was fun to see kids learning & playing volleyball & cricket.
In Singapore, we met with a potential partner for Singapore & the region.
In Nepal, we were able to meet with the leadership teams of several partners & were encouraged to hear & see some of their projects.
It is always valuable to get time with old & new partners to share stories & get updates about what is happening & what is working & what isn’t.
Ball Project is honored to have so many great partners around the world working in their communities to mentor young people & help children play.
I am on my way to Asia to meet with partners in Nepal, Singapore & hopefully more.
It is never easy leaving family & friends at home. Thankfully 2 friends from the Ball Project Advisory Team are coming along.
As usual, the focus of the trip will be to meet with new & old friends & partners & see some projects & scout for new opportunities, as well as, find out what is working & what isn’t.
It is always good to be with partners face to face on the ground where we can share a coffee or meal, talk, listen, encourage & learn from one another as we work together to help children play.
