In the midst of the Covid-19 Crisis, here is an encouraging update from one of our partners in Haiti:

Even before the COVID-19 crisis, there was a political and economic crisis in Haiti.

This has disrupted many things, but SportQuest partner, TF, has remained committed to leading his sports academy and training up whole-life leaders through soccer and basketball. He also has created a WhatsApp group for 100+ soccer coaches who are developing their players holistically.

When possible, he provides training and equipment for them to use in their communities.

Coaches on the Move
Due to the number of coaches that we have trained over the years. We planned activities that we would do together to as a team in communities around the country.
So every quarter we organize a big community outreach where we train, coach and support local teams with some resources.

Coaches On The Move is a new program we launched where Coaches do soccer outreaches and trainings in communities with youth and teams. We give the best practices and train coaches in how to handle players. We have seen an overwhelming response to this program.

Last Bell soccer clinic 12.2019

Here is an encouraging update from one of our partners, Last Bell, in Ukraine.

Last Bell works with orphanage graduates and their families in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. The Ball Project has helped us with equipment at our Crisis Shelter Housing facility, and with balls and equipment – including some that went to one of the former orphans MP, who is now using her sports leadership training to run soccer groups with orphans and orphan-led families.

Last Bell works with orphans in Ukraine as they age out of the state orphanage system into society.

Ball Project partners continually encourage & humble us with how they work to help their communities & help children play.
