One of our great partners is Groundswell Aid. Here is a short but sweet update from their Pater Surf School in La Paloma, Uruguay:

This year Groundswell Aid launched a couple of campaigns and one of them was raising funds for the Pater Surf School which is a non-profit surf school that teaches the kids surfing. The kids learn to surf but also get support with their homework, or help them grow emotionally, spiritually and socially.

The Ball Project blessed us hugely in this campaign and we were able to bless the Pater Surf School in La Paloma, Uruguay with brand new surfboards. That was the need they had because their amount of youngsters attending grew and the number of boards was too small. So this blessing really helped children play!

Thanks for your huge blessing and partnership.

Ball Project is thankful for all of our partners around the world working faithfully to help children play!

Here is a short update from a Ball Project partner in Montevideo, Uruguay:

“We are a team in Shangrila (Montevideo) that helps the community in various ways, such as painting, cutting grass, among many other things. This year we are starting an activity with children and adolescents to enjoy a time of taking part in sports (namely soccer) and to learn through these sports, playing with the balls and doing exercises. As well as times like these, playing soccer and building community, this time helps to keep the kids off the streets and therefore away from the lure of getting involved in drugs, alcohol, etc.”

Ball Project is very grateful for our amazing partners & supporters for helping children by helping children play.
