Here is an encouraging update from one of our South African partners & an opportunity to support them!
The Prochorus Development Cycling project has had its second incident of theft. This time luckily only four bikes were stolen. After seriously upgrading security we hope and pray that this will not happen again.
The team of boys and girls are increasing as the summer days are back and they enjoy learning and racing. We have a family who does home schooling with their children and their three boys are now joining the group rides on a regular basis. The cross cultural interaction does the boys very well and they have really become friends. The father is also passionate about the development of children and we are looking at opportunities to implement “The World Needs A Father” principles with the boys and hopefully involve their parents (especially Dads) in this soon.
There’s also a new tool we’re starting to implement on the programme, which develops the occupational intelligence of the kids and helps them to overcome their distorted thinking and beliefs. I believe this will make a deep impact in their lives.
Various other activities are done, like swimming and running lessons, to give the kids balanced physical development.
We’re hoping to permanently register on GlobalGiving, but we need to raise $ 5000 by 27 September 2019, any help will be greatly appreciated. The project campaign can be found on the GlobalGiving website: www.globalgiving.org named “Cycling Whole Life Coaching For @Risk African Kids”
Ball Project is thankful for all of our partners working hard to help children play.
