One of our goals is to invest in local coaches here in Senegal and over
the last few years we have built up a network of around 50 coaches. Our
trainings include practical coaching topics as well as things like first aid
and refereeing. In March we look forward to our 2nd referee training and
have a friend coming who co-ordinates referee training for the
Irish Football Association. We plan to run another 1st aid course later in
the year as well as trainings on tactics and leadership.
Ball Project is thankful for our partners working to build community, train coaches & help children play.

Many thanks for the wonderful work that you do around disadvantaged communities around the world! I always follow your work, you are doing a fantastic job! I once wrote to you seeking help in helping assist disadvantaged children in Zimbabwe access proper soccer facilities. I have one Zimbabwean soccer legend, his name is Moses Chunga. He’s a former Zimbabwean footballer of the year. He also played in Belgium. He’s now retired but is trying to give back to the community that helped become the player that he became. He’s very good at identifying and nurturing young soccer talent. Consequently, he has set up a soccer academy in Zimbabwe. But unfortunately he’s struggling for funding. I was wondering if you could assist him. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards
